Yes, sometimes it is just about being in the right place at the right time with a Flip Video HD camera.
While in Chicago on business this morning, I kept hearing about auditions for street folks in the new Transformer's movie. Of course there was no way for me to get away from my prior commitments so I chalked the rumor up to another missed opportunity.
However, driving through the city on the way to the airport, traffic suddenly stalled. There were lots of people walking around under the direction of a few people with bull horns. And was that rubble in the road up ahead? A tattered and burned flag hanging of the building? And then the three tricked out and partially covered cars rolled by.
Yeah, sometimes it's just luck. And a quick camera.
