Opening
a door for Goldberg?

It appears
that Brock Lesnar's term with the WWE may be over. There is
word that Brock quit the WWE last night after the TV taping
in Atlantic City. There have been serious troubles backstage
which may have forced Lesnar to take to the hills. Some are
even saying that Eddy Guerrero's success as the current champ,
or at least the fan's reactions to him, have annoyed Brock.
In the
long run, this is the worst possible news for the WWE. Brock
was young, tough, believable and a great wrestler, someone
they could put the belt on for long runs. However, there is
no such thing as gone from the WWE forever, so having him
disappear for a while may actually help his drawing power.
No word
on how this will change the plans for Mania. The match will
still go on, but an easy win for Brock with Goldberg leaving
may be changed and Goldberg may even be more seriously pursued.
