Yes,
in all these updates, where hath been the "comics"
in Comic-Con? Well, they're there, too, and we'll report
as we get news from the Con. But we're not the only ones
who wonder, and this panel featuring (among others) multi-media
star Brad Meltzer will help get back to its roots. This
one might even be a panel I have time to see!
Below
I've also included a video from Meltzer's Heroes For
My Son. Just a cool little piece to provide a good
thought for the day. And it certainly fits the theme of
the panel.
From the Comic-Con Site:
Saturday,
July 24, 12:30-1:30 Comics Across all Media—
Paul Feig (creator of Freaks & Geeks), Chip Kidd (Shazam!:
The Golden Age of the World's Mightiest Mortal), Whitney
Matheson (USA Today's Pop Candy blog), Brad Meltzer (The
Inner Circle), and Michael Uslan (The Dark Knight) are five
superstars who make headlines in television, the graphic
arts, journalism, novels, and film. But they all have comics
in common. As they reunite for another visit, join them
for a discussion of all things nerd. It'll be like a 21st
century Breakfast Club -- but with even better references.
Moderated by audiobook star Scott Brick (The Chronicles
of Thomas Covenant). Room 24ABC
