Okay, so nobody seems to be talking about Teen Titans: The Judas Contract anymore, as Warner preps its third direct to DVD DC Universe release, Batman: Gotham Knights. This still looks pretty cool.

Six top anime directors interpret the scripts of some of Batman's best writers to bridge the gap between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Similar in concept to The Animatrix (which kicked the ass of the two actual Matrix sequels), this project looks creepy and interesting.

DC Comics, Warner Premiere, Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Animation have collaborated to create a unique Batman experience in Batman: Gotham Knight. The all-new, original movie will arrive July 8, 2008 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The original movie will also be available OnDemand and Pay-per-View as well as available for download on the same day as release date, July 8, 2008.
