how it all began...
For
whatever reason, maybe just the wrong time of day on Los
Angeles television, I completely missed Transformers
on its first U.S. invasion. The toys looked cool and all,
but I think I was more enthralled by the Kenners Super Powers
toys than these "Robots in Disguise."
Of course,
since the live-action film, I've had a bit of a Transformers
education. With my son, I've been watching the kiddie-fied
Transformers Animated. I get why the concept is
super cool. I've just never felt it in my heart, nor, really,
had the chance to go back.
Now
I do. Next week, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Transformers,
we're finally getting a first season, followed closely
by a super-deluxed boxed set of the whole original series
that I'm sure Mish'al Samman is just drooling over already.
Since
Meesh has already seen Revenge of the Fallen, we'll
continue the unofficial Transformers week and show you everything
they're willing to show us of this upcoming blast from the
